Hi, my name is Annette Chan and I am currently studying at Trinity College School, Canada Ontario and was studying at True Light Middle School of Hong Kong previously.
I will be graduating in June 2019 and will be going to the UK for the undergraduate programme of LLB Law for the upcoming school year. I would say that I am very patient when it comes to teaching since I am very passionate about it. I am a writing steward at my current school and that provides me with the experience to work with peers.
Besides, I have worked with kids before and helped them with their homework, studies and so and I do think that the previous experiences made me into a better teacher. I would love to be able to make my students stronger by passing them the knowledge that I hold. I have a relatively strong skillset in terms of communication and presentation, especially in English.
I am also really strong in languages, I know a total of 4 languages including Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Spanish (just finished my third year of studies in Spanish). I understand that all students are special in their own way and I do emphasis on trying different learning strategies in order for them to learn in the best and most comfortable way possible. Therefore, as a teacher, I will try my very best to teach my student with special care and effort.
